Which of these brands do you think has the highest taste level?

I was hoping you could help me determine which of these makers has the highest taste level. I feel that each brand caters to conservative business dress and I have only included those which I have had previous positive experiences with. You may notice that some makers such as Brioni and Rubinacci are not offered as choices in the poll; this is only because I have not yet had the opportunity to visit the stores which sell their garments but I hope to in the near future.

I have to echo what others have said about these not being particularly tasteful retailers. That said, and in light of your most recent comment -- and obvious interest in getting some assistance -- may I offer the following: of that group, Brooks Brothers has the longest history for being a solid, mid-level purveyor of conservative middle class clothing. Its selections are generally of good quality and traditional styling. If you built your entire wardrobe from what BB offers, there are few places in the world where you would not fit in and be both tasteful and respectable. Nordstrom, on the other hand, has a slightly higher sense of style; a more contemporary collection that gives a nod to continental influences (whereas BB is pure American which, in my view, is British derivative).

Depending on which feel strikes your fancy -- and I occasionally pick up a piece here or there from each of them -- I would only consider those two. The rest are crap.

You want a list of brands, when worn, will ensure people that you have good taste?

Good taste is like beauty, it's in the eyes of the beholder.
