You do not need -- moreover you shouldn't want -- a braclet.

Period.

End of discussion.

A watch is the only piece of jewelery a man needs on his wrist.

Links aren't opening for me.

I don't get the bracelet hate... personally not my thing, but I think PG, spoo and others pull it off.

OP, this part of the forum isn't about "Men's Clothing" in the sense of "Clothing Men Wear", but more about a kind of suiting subculture.

You can wear a bracelet, but both of those are ugly. Look at streetetiquette.com, Travis and Joshua usually have some interesting bracelets or rings on.

+1.

I wore bracelets when I was young, but I do not find it appropriate for grown-up men.
(Nowadays, I feel a bit the same about tattoos)

What a bunch of fuddy duddys. Bracelets and rings are fine as long as you don't go overboard. That said, both of those are pretty ugly.

I was just checking my calendar to see if it was 1st April :) Well, anyway, though the post seems out of place here, I'd say bracelets were a no-no for men of taste unless you subscribe to certain subcultures; so surfers, skaters, bikers, ethno-chic etc. In which case, bracelets of woven hemp, studded leather or something you picked up in Laos might suit. But the generic Walmart think? No.

So true. Mabye if your a badass rocker you can pull a leather wrist band of, I would not recommend it.
