my belanciaga tie. it is very bold, the blue is more navy than depicted (flash). but the orange is spot on . it works well with some ensembles.

I don't think I have a #1 tie, but a lot of people in L.A. apparently haven't seen knit silk ties with horizontal stripes. Whenever I wear one, everybody wants to touch it and compare the shape to a sock or a stocking. It's not that they don't like it, they just find it odd.

I wear a plain navy silk knit charvet tie every now and again. It blows people's minds, they just don't know what it is, they don't like the bottom, they think it is too skinny, whatever, I just get tons of negative comments.

The only tie I've ever received positive comments on is an orange Valentino I bought here. I wear a tie almost every day.

Bad blackberry pic....doesn't really even capture the color right but the orange hermes I get compliments on the most frequently. The loud one on the right gets me compliments as well though I was very skeptical at first since I pretty much only like navy ties. The solid navy hermes in the middle is my absolute favorite. I'd wear this with a navy 2 button and light blue shirt every day if I could get away with a uniform. I get zero compliments on my navy one haha.

    Drakes vintage shantung silk tie.

Lovely for a more casual work day with a bright white shirt and some light grey trousers!

Just that bit different to the usually glossy brightly striped huge knotted monstrosities you normally see around and about

All my RLPL ties gets the office girls gushing all over whenever they see the label.

I really should slap that label on everything.

Love this tie. Where can I get something like this?

All my RLPL ties gets the office girls gushing all over whenever they see the label..

How do they see the label on a tie???
Most women have never heard of RLPL.
What kind of industry are you in, that employs these "label whores" ?

Drakes of London website has the exact tie.

As far as how the office girls see my label, it's due to my non-stop sprezzatura. Somehow the constant sprezzatura makes the tie label easily seen [IMG]

Recent compliments have been on my burgundy LE "owls" tie, a plain lavender tie and a plain peach colored tie, however I feel that the latter two compliments were prompted by a pallet of spring colors and not necessarily by the ties themselves.
