I'm looking to make my first MTO purchase for shoes and would like some feedback on what you guys would get from the below brands if you were to choose

Eddie Green
Gaziano & Girling
Pierre Corthay

I'd go and look for myself but Leffot is on vacation for now so I figure I'd get some feedback first. I think I'm looking more for a monkstrap to complete my current shoe stable. Thanks for the responses in advance

Corthay since you'll actually get your shoes within a couple of months.

How long do the other MTO's take? not over 4 months or well over?

I never ordered from GG or EG but I've heard it's usually at least 10 weeks if you're lucky. The 2 Corthays I've ordered have been 4-6 weeks.

Yes. All 3 has different looks and styling and the Corthays are the most 'left wing' of all 3 labels listed (although Leffot's EG can be quite out there too). You gotta know what you actually like. It makes no sense to me to buy Corthays for plain black or brown shoes.

I wouldn't count out Alfred Sargent. Their customer service is wonderful. Their new handgrade models are very well made (leather heel and toe stiffeners, etc.). I think you can order them through Leffots too.

I'm trying to stick with somewhere in nyc since it'll be my first order and would like to see everything in person. Are there any other boutiques similar to Leffot in ny? Is construction among these brands essentially the same quality or is there one that is heads and shoulder above the rest?

I got mine in like 4 weeks. It was ridiculous. I've been waiting 7 months for my G&G's.

As an edit I think there is room in anybody's wardrobe for all of them.
