From your experience, do any brands like cucinelli, avon celli, malo, etc. make more slim-fitting sweaters? What about zegna, rlpl, etc.? How do polo ralph lauren sweaters tend to fit?

I'll be honest... 80% of my sweaters are from Banana Republic or Brooks Brothers. I honestly can't justify a very slight quality difference for a lot more money from luxury brands.

Cucinelli are fairly fitted, though.

I agree. I stocked up during the summer when it's $10-$20 a piece. I picked up a crap load of 100% cashmere for $15 a piece. I don't get the quality difference between the $600 cashmere from RL and BR

BR and BB sweaters aren't really slim. I found a bunch of slim fitting sweaters recently at H&M.
The quality is horrendous. However they are 100% cotton, don't pile, and $10.

Not really Italian but my Drakes sweater is rather slim fitting.
