Stumbled on this comparison by member BespokeKiwi.

I definitely prefer one of these shapes over the rest. Was wondering what others prefer, and if I'm in the majority or minority.

348, followed by 348 and then 348 with the 348 bringing up the rear.

I made the mistake of buying a pair of 348-lasted C&Js some years ago. I do not wear them at all.

Of Course, everyone's foot shape is different, but out of all the shoes i've had on the 337, 341, 348 and 358, the 348 are supremely comfortable and very good looking!

They are comfortable indeed - just actually way too pointy for me.

337 then 341 then 363 and just cant get away with the 348 !! Tried numerous styles on the 348 and it just doesn't look right on me, too long and pointy !!

Before getting any C&Js my plan was to start with the Hallam, based on their look (though not from a top-down shot like the one above). It wasn't untill I tried them on I realised how bad that elongated last looks IRL.

I still like the idea of a *slightly* chiseled toe and think the 337 looks pretty good, but as the 341 fits me better nearly half of my C&Js are on that last (Bradford, Worcester, Westfield & Brecon).

I like the look of the 337, but I would be quite happy with the 341 last, especially after seeing it in person. That and it can be had in wide...
