Which boot (or both)

I have an opportunity to get either a black Fiorentini + Baker ankle boot or a tan Margiela at a very good price.

I've tried on the Fiorentini + Baker and it felt fantastic. I assume the Margiela would be the same. Course I could get both or order both and return one.

Any opinions on these boots?

The ones on the right are pretty damn ugly.

Dislike both, go classic. You might wear them longer.

How and where will you be using these boots? Paired with what?

I'm not a buckle or slip-on boot kinda guy, so I'm biased, but ones on left are too euro looking and ones on right are too busy.

How and where? Naked on top of gf. Well you asked!

As to the comment that an Italian maker looks too Euro...ya think?

Let me put this in context. I already own 2 pairs of Clarks, so I have the comfortable, conservative and long lasting thing down. As a middle aged product of the 60s, I liked the Euro, slip on, with the side zipper (like the Fiorentini & Bakers) look. Also as an oldster with an ever widening foot, comfort is very important, so that eliminates a lot of boots.

Think I'll get the Fiorentini & Bakers. Thanks to all the comments. Seriously, it helped me define what I wanted.
