Which bomber jacket?

Hello everyone,

I would like to buy a jacket for the fall / summer period and would like to buy a bomber jacket with a clean look.
I am a person who likes to have few clothes in his wardrobe, i'm thrifty and like good quality and functionality and that is why I only want two coats. One for cold days (i have a navy woolrich parka) and a jacket for warmer days.
Now I have seen two bomber jackets where I doubt between:
  1. NN07 Bomber Jacket Black
  2. Selected Homme Bomber Jacket Blue
Personally, I really like the black jacket (1), but this jacket is made of polyester / nylon, which is not very practical for hot days. I like the model, clean appearance and zipper. (On the other hand, I live in the Netherlands and there are not many hot days and if there are, I can always take it off of course)

I also like the other blue jacket (2), but it has no elastic at the sleeves (as you can see at first glance), but it does have materials that breathe better (polyester / cotton). However, I already have a blue coat and because I am thrifty with my clothes, I find it a bit boring if I will only walk in blue.

I have worn black for a long time, but I once had color advice based on skin, hair and eye color and it was advised that blue suits me best in terms of color.

Which do you like best?

Personally not into those silhouettes. I feel like they look a bit dated. The traditional bomber is rounded, but during the 2005-ish - 2015ish slim fit trend, bombers became elongated and slim. Basically, every bomber looks like this:

If you work in conservative business-casual office, then I suppose that's fine. If you're looking to get something you can wear casually, I think there are more interesting options. This one is from Monitaly:

But between the two options you linked, I like the NN07 better. Partly because I know the company generally makes slightly more interesting takes on this style, and the banded hem will create a slightly more interesting silhouette.

I'd like to add that the quality of those brands are not very impressive.

SH is by far the worst of the two, and will not last very long. NN07 is also quite overpriced in terms of what you get for your money. In my not-so-humble personal opinion I find their designs tasteless in general (ridiculously small collars on shirts, always boxy/straight silhouettes, questionable choice of details - like a small button on the chest pocket of shirts etc.)
Just an example:

Another thing about NN07: any brand that sells knitwear with acrylic at a premium price-point deserves no business. It's a literal scam.

NN07s dress shirts are also stupidly short, like most swedish brands in that prize range. Their shirts should all be burned for the collars alone.

I wouldn't assume their jackets are bad for that reason though, I'd be surprised if they're made in the same factory.

This is a bomber jacket, also called the A2 in military jargon. Made of horsehide, worn by bomber crews in WWII. Aero Leather of Scotland, among others, makes authentic replicas using Horween horse leather. I don’t know how or when fabric Harrington jackets started being called bomber jackets but I wish it would stop. ?

I've heard of an industry called fashion, where people interpret different designs for creative purposes.
