Where to get a hair cut in Chicago

I am going to be in chicago next week and i will be needing a cut. where is a good place to get one? right now i get a 1A with a brook (a taper, for those not from NYC/NJ). suggestions? thanks, -JOriginally Posted by jlluch

Any suggestions for salons in the Loop? Went to Halo and it was horrible!! I almost joined Yelp just so I could leave a negative review. It was a $10 haircut at best. Fortunately I had a coupon and only had to pay $29. They hide their inexperience and lack of skill behind the hot towels and hand massages.
$30-50 would be ideal. Considering John Allan, but the full-services have me worried (see Halo).

I didn't love John Allen when I went, but my haircut is only worth $16. I need someone who knows how to use clippers and a straight razor.
