Where to find slim ties

I went shopping today and couldn't find any slim ties. I went to a few stores today at my local mall (not places I usually shop, but it was close) and none of the places had any slim ties. I'm not looking for anything really skinny, just maybe 2 3'4. Also, price is important - I'm in college, so I'd rather not pay more than 20/30 dollars for a tie. Any ideas?

I'm sure there are plenty of posts on this. Have you tried searching? $20-30 for any tie is a tall order, and at that price, you're certainly not going to be getting something with long lasting quality. Even chain stores like J.Crew/Club Monaco/Zara, etc charge at least $45 for their ties. Anyways, try Urban Outfitters. They have them in solid colors: black, blue, red, as well as some patterns: http://search.urbanoutfitters.com/?i...ens&u1=q&u2=t1 That, or H&M.

Marshall's has been getting some decent slim ties recently. Ben Sherman, Calvin Klein, occasionally some Polo. Either try them or TJ Maxx. You need to sift through some crap, but you may find something decent. Also, JCrew's sale page on their website has some slim ties for cheap.

I like Ralph Lauren Rugby ties for slim. I got some on sale in the spring in the $20 range. Try thrift stores as well.

I was going to say Urban as well. I got a pink with anchor patterns and a yellow paisley this summer for $10 apiece on sale, and I like the material and the knots; however, they're VERY thin. I've felt like I can only really use them as party ties (I'm in college as well

). Check them out, don't think the regular pricing is more than $25ish.

Jcrew at final sale is your best bet. Their narrow ties are 2 3/4". Sometimes they're marked down to $10.

The H&M in my area has slim ties for $12 a pop, but they're more skinny than they are slim.

there's this seller on ebay, called CB united or something that sells very slim ties. They are polyester but you can get a few for $10 each (at least I did) they look nice and for the price I can't complain.
