Where to find old-style, higher-quality Jack Purcells?

I've been wanting to get some Converse Jack Purcells, but all recent reviews of the shoes on Amazon and Zappos insist that the shoes made the last few years are a new version of Jack Purcells, on which they cut corners with the logo, eyelets, interior, and overall construction of the shoes. The general consensus is that the new version is much lower-quality than it was previously. Does anyone know where (online or brick-and-mortar) I would be able to find the old version still? (Or perhaps only these two stores are selling this lower-quality version?)
