Well as the title says, I'm looking for a good looking waterproof jacket for spring/autumn, preferable under 400$.

    Currently in the running

    CDW California Winter
    Barbour ....

    added to the list
    Nike NSW M65
    Gloverall hooded waxed jacket

If I could find a Mackintosh Duncan on sale, for when I'm not out walking the dog etc. it would be ideal with one of the others.
    any other suggestions

Gant's parka seems to have gotten favorable reviews on the Epaulet Shop thread.

I don't have one myself, but I've always wondered why Filson jackets don't get the love here that their bags do.

If you search on ebay for" nike steel city" theres a uk seller that has a load of these goretex shells that are great for $155. I prefer it over the wings and horns mountain parka they put out last spring wwhich i own too.

    Great suggestions

Thought about them, but Filson gets marked up like there's no tomorrow around here [IMG]

Not really my style, but had a look and found a Nike M65 I had been searching for, for 20$ and 269$ for the shipping[IMG]

It's a wee bit out of your price range, but the Arc'teryx Veilance field jacket (M65-ish) is pretty amazing.

Does arc'teryx retail lower in Canada than rest of the world, like Canada Goose?
