hey people. figured this would be a good place to ask this question. i saw a stock pic of a blazer and i really liked the look of it. however this pic was from a few years ago, so i would have to go for a different brand(though that would end up being a good thing anyways). so i was wondering if anyone knew were to get a corduroy blazer that looks like this

i was looking at ralph lauren, and they have one that looks like it might look like that IRL, but i couldn't find it in store to try it on. i could only find a LAUREN blazer that had a washed out almost green verison of it, just without the elbow patches.

Try JCrew.

I just bought this blazer today. It may be a little too dark for your taste though.

Banana Republic has this one, but they only have 38R's left. They have another one, darker, where sizes are available.

I didn't like the BR ones though, because they're "refined corduroy" and lack the distinct "corduroy-ness" that I wanted mine to have.

the jcrew one is nice. if it was just a few shades lighter i'd love it haha.

and i see what you mean with the BR one. it looks more like...a valorish material the way it's refined

ebay.

Just look around about what you like and then ebay it with the brand and "corduroy" as keywords or simply look for corduroy in mens clothing > sportcoats and blazers. To dismiss anything used, just use the options. There are plenty of good deals there.

Picked up two very similar to what you posted from Old Navy for $30 on sale. Had to have it altered to give the fit I wanted, but still a very good deal. Oddly, it is the only jacket in my wardrobe with working surgeon's cuffs.

I have one exactly like that from J Crew and purchased it last year at their post X-Mas sale for $60 I believe. Fits great and isn't big and baggy at all.
