I am a skinny guy and I am having difficulty finding slim fit 28x30 pants, not classic fit (too wide). Can you recommend a store/place? Thanks in advance.

incotex makes slim trousers, both casual and more formal. most can be found at a discount on the B&S forums and various retail affiliates

Dior, Levis capital E, Ralph Lauren Black label. I am that size and I like how they fit. There are a lot of brands out there!

I second uniqlo (sometimes too slim), and try h&m. You may need to upsize in those brands to not look like a hipster. good luck.

Polo's custom fit is a little easier on the wallet as well. I've got a few pairs of chinos and they're great.

Thank you all for responding. I have been to many Jcrew stores but never saw any 28 weist pants, I will look harder next time. I own a few Uniqlo pants and they fit nicely, but there isn't a store in my area.

You likely have to order 28's through their webpage. A couple of J.Crew sales associates told me that they don't normally stock pants under a size 30 waist.

That would explain why I can never find the size I need. Thanks for the info.

Alternative to JCrew, if you want a straight leg pant as opposed to a slight taper, is Gap. They do 28x30 as well. A lot of designers will also do 28 pants that you can then hem.
