Where to buy wool slacks in 38 inseam?

That's right, 38 inseam. I'm extremely tall and slim (6'7'' 190 lbs) so, needless to say, finding any sort of clothes that fit me well is pretty dang tough. I have only found one place that offers 38 inseam wool pants and that is Land's End. Their color selection is limited so I'm on the lookout for a new store.

I measured a pair of jeans that fit me really well and the outseam on those is 47 inches. Almost every single pair of wool pants I've seen that are unhemmed have an outseam of 47 inches, so those won't work.

So does anybody know of a place that sells wool pants in 38 inseam or at least 48 outseam? I need to find a suit too.

You can find unhemmed slacks on eBay fairly easily. As with everything, seeking out quality will require patience, money, or a combination of both. This is where I have gotten most of my odd trousers over the last couple of years.

For suits, the dreaded JAB will have unfinished trousers that you can hem to the correct size. Frankly, just about any men's wear store worth a damn will be able to accomodate you.

Go to a tailor or do online Made to Measure. You can get the exact fit and length you need.

The problem with that is that most of the trousers will have an unfinished inseam length of 37-38", he needs a finished hem of that length.

His best bet is probably going to be MTM, unless he can find some offerings in B&T sizing. Probably from RL or BB...
