Whats the best (cheapest and brand wise) site to buy quality shoes from? I need EU/International shipping.

I've heard about pediwear.co.uk, any more?

PLAL, Herring and Pediwear offer different brands. For Crockett and Jones, PLAL is the cheapest. Generally speaking, unless you find a good second at Herring, Pediwear is cheaper.

solelyshoes.co.uk is pediwear's sister site; you may also try UK based solelyshoes.com where you may ask for a model that is not readily available on-line.
Dealt with the latter, fine and attantive vendor.

Ok, A little comparison between the different sites. I've been looking at one low priced shoe, the Loake 1880 Savoy, and one high priced shoe, C&J Handgrade Clifford. Loake 1880 Savoy Pediwear, £144,95/$266 Plal, £132.06/$242.12 Herring Shoes, £144.95/$266.00 C&J Handgrade Clifford Pediwear, £370/$652 Plal, £237.63/$435.75 Herring Shoes do not sell C&J *All prices excludes shipping costs.

I've been doing some calculating I can say that for EU buyers, Plal is not at all that cheap, not for me atleast. As you say, Plal's prices does not include VAT and other taxes but EU/customs regulation states that for a certain amount regarding goods VAT and customs taxes Have to be added. In my case that actually means that Plal is almost £33/$62 more expensive for a pair of Loakes than Pediwear and Herring. That includes shipping of course. If I would buy a pair of Loake 1880 Savoy from Pediwear (cheapest) that would cost me roughly £155/$283. Is that a fair price?

I did actually buy a C&J Clifford from Pediwear. I used the price promise. I am in the UK.

I translated the Malaysian ringgit cost from the plal site into sterling and emailed pediwear. They matched it.

This saved me the trouble of importing a shoe from Malaysia and any import duties.

I was very impressed with pediwear. I have also used Herring for a 'Sale' shoe. They were fine.
