Where to buy Santoni in Manhattan?

I'm going to be in New York and looking to pick up a pair of Santonis. Where are the shoe stores to shop?

thanks for the tip, I visited Citishoes, it was a bust in my opinion. I have more luck at the mall. They did have a few Santoinis... a few.

I also stopped by the Ferragamo store. I expected them to carry more shoes than they did.

I'm very sure the santoni shoes at Saks NYC are part of 25% off promo, which even included Corthay shoes. I saw at least four santonis that were amazing and hard to pass up (like glacé finish gray laceups)

Hurry and call them tho, 25% off ends April 28! Quite sure sales rep will send u pix of the selection

Wasn't aware Saks carried Santoni - but if they do, I'm pretty sure you're right about the 25%. The problem with Saks is, they love carrying mostly black shoes and less in other colors...

Sorry about that. I'd only been in Citishoes once and I was mainly there to check out their Edward Green selection. The Ferragamo store on 5th Ave has the Tremezza Special line, which to me is the only reason to go into that store.

Oh man, you missed out on some amazing santonis during the Saks NYC sale!! They had some fantastic light grey patina-ed laceups and a nice variety of browns. Still worth contacting them to ask about Memorial Day possible markdowns tho!!

How to buy Santoni in NYC

CitiShoes, Rothmans and Saks sell Santoni distributed by Santoni's U.S. Wholesale headquarters in NJ. These shoes are, for the most part, designed for the U.S. market by the man who runs the U.S. distributorship, with the exception of some Saks shoes from Santoni which are designed by Saks to be exclusive for Saks.

Santoni (Italy) does not supply these stores directly with the Santoni shoes one would commonly find in Asia or Europe. That's to say these stores aren't buying directly from Santoni in Italy. These stores are supplied by/buy directly from, the U.S. distributorship. You will see most of these same shoes at Nordstrom, Boyds, Mr. Sid, Cuffs, Red Barn, Richards, Mitchells, etc

The Santoni shoes seen in Europe and Asia are coming to NYC in late summer in the new Santoni boutique which will open at 762 Madison Avenue and which will sell hand finished, limited edition, club, women's and made-to-measure and custom shoes for men.

Additionally you can contact James Rarus at jamesrarus.com who is, to best of my knowledge, the Santoni guy in NYC. He's an indie menswear consultant plugged into Santoni and may be able to help beyond what's written here, albeit for a price.

There were one or two styles on sale rack (inc a very nice brown suede) but these didn't appear to be marked down for Memorial Day sales

Gray is still my favorite
