where to buy persol in London

been after a new pair of Persols, they have a lot of models on their website i love, many in different sizes. however, i've been to around 8 shops around the oxford street/covent garden/central london locations, and the shops have a really poor selection of persols - often 5-10 models, no size selection and the stores are unwilling to order in models i like..

am i missing something here, how do people usually buy Persols? i would like to try them on as ordering sunglasses without doing so seems too daunting..

if there are no good Persol sellers in London, how about beyond? anywhere in Europe? Milan?

i'd like to try on 5, 10, 20-find a pair that fits that i love..

I might be wrong but it sounds like you've been to the "high street" areas which are more general consumer biased (read 80% of mens collection is some form of aviators).

Try going to local stores in nicer areas like Hampstead (there are others you could probably search). From what Ive seen its the small Mom and Pop stores that actually sell them (and surprisingly sometimes at a better price).

Mine are from Adam Simmonds in Primrose Hill. He does/did hold a pretty good Persol stock.
