Hello all, I've been away for a while, taking a break from posting, checking out other threads (love the shoe Appreciation thread, von Rothbart, uve got a brilliant collection of JL's) anyways, after looking at so many JL's that I love, Vale, Chapel, Jermyn II, Luffield, and so on, I'd like to know how and where I can actually buy these shoes (I'm a size 10/10.5UK), without paying full price or traveling to the factory from Oz. I understand Neiman Marcus sells the Chapel, but 1500USD is way too much for me, P.Lal offers C&J for approx 500AUD, so i was thinking that i could get Lobb for around 750AUD??

Thanks for all your help

Mr. Big

you might want to check out the current offerings on www.bluefly.com (only a few styles, but they are new and under a thousand dollars). I would also contact this gentleman, let him know the size and styles you are interested in-- from what I understand, he can possibly get what you're looking for in a month or so if you request it.

Good luck!

Would agree with Foxx. Blulefly has an additional 20% off over Labor Day. Bill Redgrift (sausages234) or Nick Anderson (Doesn't sell on ebay anymore) should be able to help you if don't need the shoes immediately. Someone on the forum such as aportnoy will have Anderson's contact information.

Just out of curiosity, does Nick get JL's at a discounted price and can he get most models?

This isn't his full time job so he may drop in and out of touch. That and JL has been closed for August so he might not have any stock. Keep trying, it's worth it!
