Hi all,

I am UK based and am after a good pair of toe-capless Oxford shoes but have no idea where to look.

Any ideas as all the ones I have thrown up so far don't have all leather construction or are patterened on the toe, which I don't want.

Any advice gratefully received.

I'll be honest I wouldn't really want to spend more than about £120 - 130. Is that do-able?

What about Meermin? ~130 GBP, not including shipping.

Before spending up, consider the possibility of saving to get something a bit better.

Sorry but that's my budget. It's not for formal wear or anything like that and i'll only wear them two - three times a year so i'm reluctant to spend anything like £300.00 on a pair!

If you are going to wear them that rarely, it's bound to be for special occasions. Spend the money. If it's not for special occasions and you're still going to wear them that rarely, it's a waste of money at any price.

Was there nothing on Pediwear that fit your budget? Sanders? Loake?
