Thanks to everyone for the all the great information out here. I recently joined this site based on the wealth of knowledge I've observed. Much great information from a lot of well informed and experienced individuals.....thanks!

I'm trying to find where I can buy shoes from:

Bettanin & Venturi
Paola Scafora
Stefano Branchini

I own several pair of Testoni and recently purchased a pair of Bettanin & Venturi's from Barney's. I've never gotten so many compliments on a pair of shoes. I travel weekly, mainly domestic, but I'm shocked at the frequency of compliments I've gotten on my new Bettanin's. Women love these shoes!

I know I can get Bettanin's (Limited styles) from Barney's but I was hoping to find someone else who has more styles. Atelier Bettanin has so many pictures of awesome shoes on his MySpace page but of course Barney's only has a few styles.

Scafora's are likely to be only available in Italy (I believe they are only Bespoke). I may have no choice but to go there later this year. I'm expecting the same is true with Branchini's.

Does anyone know of any options for these three makers. I've read that Paola Scafora comes to the US but I'm not sure how to know when he is planning on being here again.

Any information is sincerely appreciated.

Thanks!!

HI, thanks for your enthusiasm. (excused my English bad one)
I like this forum because the people know, currency, comment (for better or for worse) and appreciate my products.

"Bettanin & Venturi" nearly it is disowned in Italy, there is more disinformation and ignorance for the handicraft shoe shop... italian people do not distinguish the zirconiums from the diamonds although it is part of own culture.

When I speak about my shoes or I expose them, in Iitaly, people don't understand.
The buyers prefer to have a big company rather than a high quality.

I say thanks to you, often I read the forum for knowing what appeals to and what not.

Koi,

Would you post some pictures of your shoes? I would like to see some of the Norvegese models. Thanks.

Great! Thanks.

Now that I have understood as this forum is used I introduce myself.
Koi isn't not Alberto, Alberto has only answered to the message originates them, hi is my boss, my boyfriend and its mother is my master.

I take care myself of the shoes finissage: to invent colorations and. some one hand made shoes stitching.

I would want to participate to this forum not for "to make publicity" (I don't know as this is said in correct English) but because here there are passionate persons like me about shoes.
Into Italian forum you can only find much publicity and no concept.

This is a difficult moment for B&V (and for all), for example in Italy Fiat saves and the craftsmen are not considered important. We have denounced this to all media but nobody listens to us.
Many customers ask to us: <<I can't wait to buy more. I keep calling Barney's to see if they have new styles in. Unfortunately, not yet.>>
Also Barneys endures the global crisis and it places attention.
In Italy it is useless to speak about this or other...
For this reason I find this forum interesting and stimulating.

(I hope not to have made verbals gaffes)

If anyone wants to see more pictures of Bettanin & Venturi shoes do a Google search and....I believe it's Atelier Bettanin's My Space page a few down in the search. He has over 100 picutes of some of the most amazing shoes you'll ever see.

I own a pair of Bettanin's, light colored, and they are stunning in appearance. I've never gotten so many compliments on a pair of shoes. There is not a day that goes by that I don't. Women love these shoes.

I was at Barney's a few weeks ago in New York and they had the new styles. Again, awesome shoes. I would have bought one of them but I was actually there for a fitting with Paolo Scafora for a bespoke pair.

I'm looking forward to my Scafora's and go for my 3rd fitting tomorrow in New York. Scafora's are a bit more conservative so they'll be an awesome work shoe as well. I look forward to my next pair of Bettanin's since each pair is a work of art. I really wish there was a wider selection of Bettanin's to choose from at Barney's or somewhere else. When you see the artistic flair on Atelier's My Space page you'll see what I'm talking about relative to a vast selection. There just isn't anywhere to buy them.

I'm probably going to Italy in about a year so I'm going to try and see if I can get a few pair when there.
