Where to BUY a morning suit?

Since I'm now a total snob for the perfect fitting suit because I spend all my time talking to you people, I know I'm NOT going to like anything I get for a rental. I figure I'm going to have to buy one but the problem is I can't find many places that rent them let alone sell them.

Thanks for the ideas. The Brooks one is nice but a little much for something I'll only wear once. I think I'll keep my eye on eBay.

While I realize that I will probably get my hand slapped for suggesting such a course of action, you may want to go to your local Men's Wearhouse Tuxedo center. They definitely will rent you a morning coat and matching trousers, and they sell tuxedos as well. I'd hope that they would be able to combo those qualities and find a new set of morning clothes to sell you.

I'm not sure how much disposable income you want to dedicate to this issue, but you'd probably be able to pick up something that fit you reasonably well for much cheaper than BB. You could then have your tailor make the finishing adjustments and still come out way ahead. I realize that you might be sacrificing quite a bit in the quality area, but how many times are you going to wear a morning coat?

Yes, I only plan to wear it once. I just want it to look good at the wedding and in the pictures. The problem with what I've seen at your average rental place is that the sleeves are too long, the pants are too long and the stripe is too think. That's why I want to buy mine so I can make sure it looks good by altering it. I'm down for anything vintage that I can take to a tailor.

The two grooms men can get rentals that look similar to mine, I'm not too concerned if they don't match 100%.

I do not know if they ship to the USA but M&S is about the cheapest morning suit in the UK.

Even if you're wearing it only once I don't know if you should rent it, as you know you might need it somewhere, sometime in the future and it's better to have one to your taste and measurements than something you don't feel comfortable with
