Did you try Oaknyc?

I believe they can order your size, but you would not get the sale price.

Yea, I tried ordering it from them but theyre charging full price for the size that I need. I was hoping a retailer had some left in my size and had them on sale. After I missed the $99 leo miami 5ep sale, its becoming really hard for me to justify paying $285 + shipping from oak...

As I understand it, 5ep keeps the same styles each year right? When are retailers going to have them in stock?! I've been trying for at least a month now to locate these jeans...

That is frustrating. I didn't realize Leo Miami had once offered the dark worn bootcut. I only saw the ones they still have now.

yea they had both the straight and bootcut in dark worn. The thing is, I found out about the sale before most people on this forum did...but I slept on them and missed out on a real goood deal. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if a place in NYC carries them? There has to be some leftover stock somewhere...

I think I'm coveting these jeans too much...if I can't find em for a reasonable price soon...I may just bite the bullet and spend the most I will probably ever spend on a single pair of jeans.

I own these jeans and they're not really all that IMO. They're certainly nice but you could easily get the same result by getting the one wash and wearing them a few times. Personally they get a lot less wear than the same jeans in one wash <shrug> My $0.02

Wear them a few times? It'd take 6 months + to get similar wear, of course it'd look better in the process.

It depends, the dark worns I got weren't all that worn... my 5EPs looked reasonably worn after 20 or so wears...

I was under the impression that 5EP were one of the more difficult brands to wear in, definitely moreso than Nudie (and my RRDS definitely didn't look worn after 20 wears).

<shrug> I dunno. Of all the jeans I have, the 5EP straights look the most worn with the least wear...
