I don't drink that much, so bars and clubs are out.

Do I have no other option?

    I'm 24.

What are your interests? Cooking? Particular type of literature? Tango? Waltz? Salsa?

Why not take a class in any of the above?

You could always crash a wedding....

Coffee shops, bookshops, random social situations (private parties, get togethers at friends'), bus stop, airport, classes (if you are in school.) Pretty much anywhere is a good place, as long as the conversation starts naturally and you are not and do not act forced.

I've had good luck at senior citizen centers, AA meetings, Great Britain, Star Trek conventions, Southern Pentacostal Churches, Astronomy classes at community colleges, and SCA reinactments of mideval seige warfare.

Look in every nook and cranny and then once you give up in frustration, you'll somehow find yourself in a goldmine.

You got that right. If you have no accent of any kind, just say you're Canadian and you're required to possess a "Language Barrier Certificate".

Online dating works for a lot of people.

In my early 20s I got into community theater and was in several plays, which got me quite a bit of social exposure and more than a few dates.

If you're in to any sports, chances are your area has just about any sport for "adults", whether as a league or a regular pick up game.

I'm in a weekly volleyball league at a sport-bar (it's a big warehouse with a fewvolleyball courts anda bar) and also participate in a local rec center's weekly pick up games.

Stand outside the local STD clinic. You know those girls put out...

On a serious note, I find that parties and social activities are the best. If you dont yet have the game to hit on girls in random public places, at least these give you a context for being there, talking to them, etc...

Classes work also, but choose carefully. Maybe something like photography where you can ask her if she wants to go out and shoot some places on the weekend

Bars suck for meeting girls. Shags yes, but girls, no...

Have you considered drinking slightly more? No, I'm serious.

The big thing is keep your options open. Women are everywhere. Why not take some continuing educaiton classes at the university? I've always met single and willing women at those classes.

Try some of the Internet dating sites -- those sites are upfront and a woman on there is looking for a date or to meet a SO. Much better when things are upfront and open than with the games that go on at a bar.

A bar is IMO, the worst place to meet a woman.
