Where should I get alterations on my new T&A shirts

I just bought a couple of T&A shirts off ebay, and I need to get the sleeves shortened and the back and shoulders adjusted.

Seeking opinions/advice: would it be best/prudent for me to take them into a TA shop, or is it okay for Wilfred or some other tailor to do the alterations?

I use Allmeier for my alterations. They are not always prompt, but the work I've commissioned in the past was very fair for the price. Others may report different experiences.

Thanks for the input. If I were to go to T & A, do you think it's okay I tell them I bought their shirts off ebay? I just wonder if it's kind of weird.

You could just say that they're were a gift for the sake of simplicity. It's not as though they'd charge you any more or less.

What sort of work do you need done to the back and shoulders.
shortening sleeves is quite simple for most tailors.

Going to T & A could get expensive.

remember that if the shoulders get taken in 1" each side the sleeves get shorter by the same amount.
