Same as it ever was.

I need a pair of russell mocs and two pairs of aldens and my casual shoe collection will be complete (once the augustas come in as well that is).

I have been trying to have a less casual look. I love my v-neck t shirts, which are always a staple with me, but I have been gravitating towards a dressy casual look lately, such as a button down and vest, jeans, and stylish sneakers.

As for other colored denim, I really regret not buying the natural-ish colored NdG jeans that Blackbird had at <$100. Probably would have looked good all nice and dirty.

Which Augustas did you get? Pics when you get them, of course.

I'm ridiculously confused and unsure of where to go with my style.

One of the main reasons is just because I'm so slim that almost nothing fits me, I also live in a small town without much shopping. Being that I'm 5'9" and either an XXS or a slim XS it's just ridiculously hard for me to find ANYTHING that works. I usually end up settling for clothes that are 1 size too big in the chest and an inch or so shorter than I'd want.

If I go to American Apparel, for example, I have a cardigan from there. Size XS, it fits me almost perfectly in the chest (17" p2p, perfect size for one layer) but the hem falls at the top of my belt, and the arms are a fair bit too short. I've tried sweaters from JCrew and Gap and such, but they're usually 19.5" p2p or something INSANE, and when I see slimmer sweaters on the internet they're usually still at least 18.5", and considering my peacoat is 18" p2p and I can wear 3 layers very comfortably, anything larger than 17.5-18" p2p is out of the question and 17-17.5" is preferred.

So I usually end up wearing basic stuff I know fits me (RL Kids polos, Zara Super Slim Tees, AA Cardis, MJK BDs with basic jeans and cp/converse/kahtadin)

But then I also have weird drapey all black outfits I wear with skin tight jeans.

I am not completely into either. It's really fun to wear crazy stuff, but I don't have the market or money to build up a big crazy wardrobe.

I wanna be ballin' and wear runway, but that's out of my price range. So I really don't know what I'm going to do.

<3 my white denim, I'd say it's the most underrated. Works with a lot of stuff, isn't hard to pull off, and let's be honest, friends are already giving you gripe about how tight your jeans are so why does it matter if they're white?

    Plus girls love them.

I completely agree about how great white denim is. I love mine. However, my experience with girls and white denim is not always positive. I've had my balls busted over wearing white denim by chicks. But some girls love em. I wouldn't say all girls like white pants on guys, though.

OH God. Trying to find slim fitting clothes is a huge challenge, especially when you are looking for items that wont break the bank. I always have difficulties finding shirts that fit well, it's pretty frustrating. Online shopping is definitely the way to go, it just sucks when you want to pick up something last minute.

    Why not kids clothing? Seriously
If you are too small for XXS there are many options in the kids section. BOO, RL, J.Crew, Gap, HF,.. all have a kids section. The prices are also much cheaper in the kids section too.

Slowed down on buying new stuff. Has the positive effect of a) allowing me to buy some more expensive stuff when I do buy and b) wearing down what I already have for a more comfortable look. I like a clean aesthetic but it gets tiring to always look like you are wearing new clothes.

Been on a real light tone on tone kick lately/still - gray, bone, cream, white. Still wishing I could pull off wearing a casual suit daily which has been the goal since day 1 though i'm not getting much closer.
