Where do you stand on red corduroy trousers?

I spotted a very attractive pair of bright red cords at the weekend (Boglioli - I didn't realise they made trousers).

While the colour was quite spectacular, I'm wary of red cords as they always struck me as uniform for those hoping to be mistaken for one of the country set. Is this still the case?

I like BB's new red cords in the milano cut. Thinking about getting this... want to hear what others think

They are fine. Go get some.

(Pair them with a white satin Honda jacket and post picts.)

Seriously, buy them now.

I opted for electric blue, instead.

I wore a pair for a few hours and decided the color was just too much.

i concur ... cords are fall-ish ... and red is not really a fall color ... so at least for me it feel counter intuitive. burgundy and rust FTW.

however, i'm sure someone will post a pic of a sick fit with red cords to immediately make me change my mind.

I have burgundy and rust orange, they are great for winter and colder days. I would be very reluctant to wear red pants.
