Since I'm very new, and I normally only read threads to see what people think, what stores would you usually be seen shopping at?

I've been trying to go for the smart casual look, so I've been shopping at J Crew, Brook Bros, and some DC stores, with the occasional GAP and H&M if I see what I like.

my taste has now so narrowed that they can almost be construed as bigoted my closet is 40% brooks, 30% lands end, 20% RL, 10% h&m/uniqlo/few other random casual wear my aesthetics align closely with paul stuart, but the Armoury especially strikes my chord 100%... i can see myself head to toe in their products

I used to be able to find things I liked at B&M stores when I couldn't discern quality differences.

Thanks to SF, I can only do online.

Aside from on-line shopping I pick up the basics at the local outlet mall featuring the gap, banana republic, and brooks brothers. I've been shying away from retail over the past year because of all the deals on-line and my general lack of interest in what most of the brick-and-mortar stores have to offer. That said I do love to window shop at Halls.

I'm probably gonna get ripped for this, but Gap and BR I'd say make up the majority of my clothing, although RL has the highest ratio for dress shirts,
