where do you buy your shoes?

perhaps it's b/c i'm in the suburbs (Westchester County, NY), but it seems like every place i go that carries men's shoes has a tiny, fairly awful selection. where do you guys go? and i'd be more comfortable buying shoes online from a brand i already own, due to sizing issues, so while online is an option, it's not a preferred one...
