Where do you buy your shoelaces?

It strikes me that changing shoelaces could be a potentially crucial part of maintaining a quality pair of shoes, but searching the forum there doesn’t appear to be much discussion of shoelace vendors and sources. I was curious: what is your folks’ experience with shoelaces? What do you buy for your dress shoes, well made boots, and so on?

Hanger Project has great laces. Shipping is a pain, but if you stock up it’s well worth it. The boot laces in particular are incredible. Very similar (if not identical) to what Edward Green uses.

I also like the laces from Skolyx and A Fine Pair of Shoes. Again, shipping is a pain, but i just stock up whenever I’m ordering a new pair of shoes and it’s free shipping on those orders.

Among those three shops, you should be able to find every length and type (round, flat, waxed, I waxed, boot, etc.)

I second the hanger project recommendation as they are exclusively what I use when I replace laces which I don't like the factory spec. It's a pain shipping if you only need one pair, so make sure to stock up and pickup some other shoe care accessories so the shipping is worth it.
