Where do I get a decent tailored shirt in the GTA without breaking the bank?

I keep changing my preference on this. I have several shirts of each. I find with the french placket, it gets turned inside out at the bottom when I wash the shirt, which can be annoying to iron if the shirt dries that way.

I had a similar issue so I took a needle and thread and sewed a tiny stitch to hold it in place so it doesn't fold over. It's not noticeable and it gets tucked into my pants anyway.

How would those Spier & Mackay shirts compare to the Modern Tailor ones you already own?

Just went to Spier & MacKay yesterday, they're having a 25% off sale until the end of Monday.

3 shirts for $240 tax-in.

Will post up when I get the trial shirt in 3-4 weeks.

Went with a Blue pinpoint, white pinpoint and light blue gingham.

Excuse me digging up and old thread, but there's tragically little available when one does a search for Spier and Mackay.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd appreciate hearing follow-up from those who have tried them out.

Anyone? :embar:

Whoops!

Meant to post up in here. Spier & Mackay was fabulous for me. The pricing is good, their premium fabrics are great. Their shop is a bit camp, but most of the sales associates are knowledgeable. I suggest getting help from Rikky.

Sorry for the poor lighting,
