I realized that if I am going to buy a pimpin' overcoat, then I must also first have the tools in place to keep it pimpin' for a really long time.
I have read that moths love to eat cashmere thus I was thinking maybe to get an airtight container and lay the overcoat flat in there to keep all potential moths away?
I have also read that hanging the overcoat can cause stress on the shoulders since all of the weight is concentrated on and putting stress on that small area; thus it's better to hang those coats on a mannequin rather than a hanger.
Are these things what you guys do to protect your overcoats?
If so, where did you buy your airtight container and mannequin from? Links where I could buy such things at a good price would be very helpful to me.
If not, what do you do instead in order to avoid moths damage and hanging damage to your overcoat?
