I highly admire the work from Caid tailors.

If I get my own fabric, who can I go to on the US west coast for making a tweed jacket that has a similar style?

Try asking on the Ask Andy Trad board. The members there, obviously, like the style and someone is likely to have experience with a West Coast tailor who does the trad look. Another possibility is to contact the Ivy Style website. The founder knows the ins and outs of Ivy and trad style, and since he is California based, he could probably recommend someone local.

Don't get your hopes up. Very little bespoke on that board.

Cable Car might offer CMT?

But, isn't it un-Trad to go bespoke?

Try the sleevehead blog. It has a ton of information about LA-based bespoke tailors. I am sure one of them could do a tweed jacket for you.

Aren't "fitted" and "trad" also mutually exclusive?

I've been under the impression that the True Trad only buys ready-to-wear from O'Connell's.

Is 'trad' simply a coherent version of 'Trad'? Or are both incoherent, and one is just more expensive to follow than the other? Who the heck is keeping O'Connell's in business?

The coherent version is Trad, since it is message board defined. The incoherent version is trad, since it is either x) organic or y) what I say it is and I am incoherent.

I am currently getting a bespoke suit made from a tailor in San Francisco, and once I get the suit I'll post pics and everything, but I don't want to recommend them right off without seeing what they can do for me. Their prices are reasonable, and they claim to be able to do anything you can possibly throw at them. If you have a style in mind, they can work off a picture and your measurements, from what I'm told. I brought one of my own suits in that I wanted replicated but to my exact measurements so the bespoke would fit me better, obviously.

Go right to Tailor Caid. I have tried so hard and so long flying about the place and visiting different tailors to get what I want, only to be disappointed. If you have a particular style in mind and you find a tailor who specializes in that style, go straight to them. If you can't do this, then you'll have to make a compromise, but be prepared for a compromised result
