I cant find this jacket anywhere. I think I saw one on ebay a few months back but other than that, I have never seen this jacket for sale anywhere. Its the jacket with solar panels on the collar that can recharge phones, pda, etc...

It was made a year ago, it's old news now, so try outlets. But seriously... do you want to wear that thing? I saw it at a local store collecting dust on the shelf because no one is geeky enough to put solar panels on their clothes. It looked much better when you detached the panels.

Hmmm... would it be better to put solar panels on warm weather clothes?

It's an interesting idea, but I do question whether it actually works well in practice.
Unless you tend to stand around in direct sunlight, I really don't know how much sunlight the jacket would receive and thus the solar cells wouldn't have much of a charge.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
