Where can I buy an everyday Perfecto Leather Jacket?

I'd like to buy a really tough and durable black perfecto but I know nothing of leather jackets. My budget is 1200 Euros max. Any recommendations? It needs to be available in Europe. One thing to consider is that I am not very tall 1m72 and quite thin with straight shoulders.

That was my first thought but while browsing the internet several people mentioned Schott as being "mid-range" whatever that means. Are they durable? Can I like wear one in the rain? Also horsehide vs steerhide?

I have a Schott 141 (naked cowhide). It's not the most fitted jacket in the world, but it's like armor. It laughs at pretty much all weather. I've worn it in rain, snow whatever, no problems. Schott is midrange and if you want to step up to something nice there's always TOJ/John Coppidge. It's made to measure, the fit and leather should be way better than Schott and it's still about half your budget. Oh, and you have the choice of lamb, calf, goatskin or horsehide in multiple colors.

The John looks nice. Do they have stores/retailers in Europe? There are no contact details or store locators on that page. Is there a tailor in the store who takes your measurements?

What's the difference between midrange and high end? The durability? Or is it just the MTM option?
