I've always liked creepers. I think Marc Jacobs did them for awhile, too.

Those shoes made me nauseous when I saw them at Neimann. I thought they had to be a joke.

I meant in general. There is need to combine as many flashy elements into an ensemble as possible. That extends to shoes as well, which is why Spoo's shoes above (which I find attractive) are considered 'boring'.
