They run TTS (ymmv of course, but reporting my experience). I don’t own but have tried.

There was a shearling lined (or faux shearling, I forget) Chelsea boot that was almost impossible to pull on. Can’t recall if I had the same issue with the regular Chelsea.

Those do look nice. Even on sale, it still kinda bums me out they are made in China though. Great looking boots to be sure and at $495 and 15% more off, not as bothersome than if at $800.

Where would you like them to be made?

Honestly no clue why you’re are bothered with where it’s made from. As long as the quality is there and it’s done ethically I don’t think it really matter which part of the country it’s made from. The brand probably had a good deal working with this manufacture or this manufacture is their best choice compare to all the other places. After all, where its made from is just like a brand name at this point

Why not here? Last I looked a number of US based companies actually manufacture here.

I would suggest getting more educated on the topic. A good podcast I listened to recently talks about why quality GYW shoes are manufactured there

"Here" might be the US for you, but you must take into account this is an international forum, not US-centric...

As the company is based in America, perhaps I should have been more clear but that comment feels mighty pedantic.
That said, while I have no doubt they are made well, all these companies sure make clear when something is made in America, Italy, England and whatnot but magically listed as “imported” if made elsewhere.

I don’t quite get where “I am kinda bummed” has engendered this much discussion but so be it. These are $800 shoes

I don’t know if Feit is based in the US. At least when it started it was an Australian based company, I know they opened stores in NYC but I’m pretty sure it’s still an Australian owner and based company

Exactly this, made in China is associated with cheap, sweatshop stuff and outright piracy/copyright infringment, and fashion is all about selling an image/idea. I recently noticed that the Balenciaga trainers are now made in China, kind of a hard sell for 750€ plastic shoes.

I don’t disagree China have this image of cheap labor or goods, but how long we (the consumers) are going to be trick by these brands with some label of where it’s made from while it can be in the sweatshop in some other country as well. I think we as consumers so be more knowledgeable with what we are buying into as well as the market have been more globalized.

regarding the B speed trainer, yes consumer were bummed out it was made in China, it didn’t stop with the sell as it was so “exclusive” as it’s time, but it was because they increase the quantities, while releasing weird colors and design/ version which resulted them not selling well or not as much
