Hi all,

Help is needed.

I want to purchase two polo staple suits: navy and grey. But it is against my nature to purchase anything at full retail -- and at approx $1500 or $1600 as they are listed online -- these are out of my budget.

I'd love any advice of what time of year these suits might go on sale. Or maybe sources other than their stores or eBay?

Thanks, AHS.

At that price range, you can do better than Polo Ralph Lauren, but to answer your question:

They have a semi-annual sale, which I think falls around late spring/early summer. Typically gives you 40% off or so, plus 15% kicker.

I think the 40+15% off sale was mid May last year.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
