I have to say, I am quite disappointed in so many items being sold out so early in the season. There were many items that I added to my wish list a few months ago in anticipation of this sale, and many of them have already been sold out. Really shocked and upset, I guess I am going to have to track them down in the stores.
Or maybe it was the recent employee leak cleaning out their inventory.I have no insider knowledge, but I suspect Ralph Lauren's inventory in the past few years has been inflated and they've had to rely on these pre-sales/private sales/clearance sales to blow out more inventory at much lower margins than they would prefer. I suspect they didn't buy/produce as much this season and were able to sell through a larger percentage at prices closer to retail. It's also possible they're holding back some of the faster moving items they know they can sell at a lower discount than 40%+10%.
Many of the items I added to my wish list are in stock, but not marked down on the website.

You're not including the additional 15% off once you put them in your cart.I see em for $179.99?

It's still $179.99 in the cart. No promo code?
Put them in your cart, then click the link to the sale in another tab. It should apply the 15% to the items already in your cart. It worked for me.
They're not the same sale? I thought the "pre-sale" means "valued" customers just get first dibs. The sale that starts on Monday is the same sale isn't it?
