Anyone have a code they could spare a poor grad student??
u mean all wingtips? or Sanderson will be your first "different" shoes?
Code worked for the Marlow Penny Loafers. Then I tried to order the Marlow PTB from the Mansion. Sales lady insisted the Marlows are not included in the sale. When I explained to her that I just ordered the loafers online and received the discount, she checked with the manager, who also said the Marlows are not on sale. Not sure if they're right, but just in case they are, if your interested in the loafer you might want to place your order quickly before they figure out the code works online.
Most of my shoes are short or long wings in variations of dark brown color.
I buy my shoes exactly just like you with 1 or 2 loafers in the rotation.
gotta love wingtips.
If anyone doesn't want to use their private sale code, I'd greatly appreciate it if you would pass it along to me.
Just gave customer service a call.
Simply asked for a presale code, and the rep gave me one on the spot.
Those chelsea boots are mine!
Philo - please let us know if you Make it in & what the story is on Shoes.
IMHO it's always a 'Crap Shoot' - phone ordering with SA' s that you do not have a relationship with. Example: last Sale I ordered what I was led to believe we're the EG 'Ashby' on the 888 and what turns up - the 'Hewitt' on a completely different Last. Nice Shoe though nt my speed at all.
Really now, they're both being silly. They can see what's on offer at http://www.ralphlauren.com/mvc , and 3 Marlows are indeed listed. If one wanted to split hairs the shoes are technically on "pre-sale".
(Don't know why the image is so small; click it for legibility.)
I tried to get a denim western style RRL shirt. But it wasn't included in the sale. Neither were any of the PL sunglasses
Multiple Ralph Lauren SAs have told me Marlows are not included in this sale. It's working online and that could be a glitch or last minute change.
Many items were not discounted, and none of the RRL.
And these (shield your eyes)
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
It's a psychological trick. When a customer sees the discount right in front of his face yet calls customer service to discuss it this indicates that he's wavering. In sales you have to get the customer to commit. Tell the customer it's a mistake (implying the item will be removed shortly) and the customer is more inclined to pull the trigger so to not lose the chance while it exists. Always be closing.
You must have shit SAs then
How are people sizing the Marlow's?
My Alden sizing:
Separate names with a comma.
