you guys probably have more experience than me.
the one red fleece sweater i have, i had to size down to small and it's a perfect fit. could've been a one-off qa error though.
i'm about the same build as the OP—actually a little thicker.

What size would I be in Red Fleece Oxford shirt or t shirt?

I am 6'0 athletic built 180 lbs, in good shape, 15.5 x 34. I wear a medium slim in J Crew.

Should I order medium first or size up to large? I wear a medium in most things but the Red Fleece reviews all mention how crazy slim their stuff is.
Get Medium. The Red Fleece sizing runs similar to J Crew slim which is an american "extremely slim".

That's weird about the sizing- to be fair, I don't think I've ever tried on any Red Fleece sweaters. The large oxford shirts they have fit me pretty well.

Let us know what you end up with!

Seeing this thread reminds me.
Code BC1818 takes 15%. It works on sale stuff including all the Aldens on sale.
Takes cordo LHS and tassels under $500.
Basically listed sale shoes with an original retail of about $550 and above are Aldens.

I'd go with a medium. I used to wear J Crew medium slim and I've got a couple BBRF button downs in medium and they fit great. I'm about 5' 10", 157 lbs, if that helps.

Side note: I actually really like the Red Fleece line for affordable basics. They have a shop in Durham and I think its a nice low-mid line for tons of stuff. Solidly underrated.

completely agree. my favorite chinos are from them (though once they added stretch i lost interest); their knits are great; their women's stuff, my wife has tons of as it's better quality than j.crew but about the same price

This is what's confusing. I am also JCrew slim medium but I am 6'0" and 180 lbs. I will go with medium and if it doesn't work will exchange for large.

Quick side question: Has anyone purchased a t-shirt from the Red Fleece line? I've had a terrible time finding a decent pocket tee in the $20-$35 range and the BBRF ones look alright at $25. Noone seems to make a good, affordable pocket tee anymore, even Buck Mason stopped selling them.

Might I direct your attention to Everlane?

I'm actually ordering that tee.

I do love the J Crew slim garment dyed pocket tee which I already have.

Is it usual for a first time order from BB to not show in history, not be emailed a receipt yet, but I have the charge pending on my credit card?? Very strange as I checked out and it was completed on the site, but no confirmation has been sent to me.

I had this happen last week when I used PayPal checkout. I received PayPal confirmation email but order didn't show on BB site. Emailed CS and they said the order failed. The pending charge dropped off my card after a week. I reordered and order went through no problem.

Lots of people on the Alden thread report similar problems recently.

Odd. Let me call them.

They do have my order. For some reason since I created an account after ordering, I can't associate my account with my order as a guest. Strange because they are the ones that prompt you to "create an account to track your orders". Oh well. It is ordered is all that matters.

Gustin sometimes has pocket tees on their campaigns. The only thing is you would have to do a bit of waiting with each order as they would have to drop a campaign that have the pocket tees then wait for the campaign to be backed and funded, then manufactured.

Within your price range and MiUSA, but not sure if they would be slim enough for you as I don't have tees from the places you reference.
