They shrink but not very much. After a bunch of washings/dryings they get softer and softer and seem to fare better than trad cotton IMHO. Actually the three non irons I got over two years ago are holding up better than my classic cotton xtra slim fit I got six months ago. They treat the non iron cotton in formaldehyde and a few other compounds before they make them so it's probably best to limit long term exposure... Read that in the new Yorker a while ago. All this said, I picked up classic cotton again because I prefer to get mine cleaned and pressed (they do a far better job than I do).
