^^^^dasai thanks so much for the detailed reply. do you know what the difference between the lightweight and regular?
the lightweight looks much better with a better looking last. the regular peal and co punch capped looks so "blobby"

Excellent question, and one I'm afraid I'm unable to answer, as I've never seen the lightweight ones in person. I would, however, suggest that the "blobbiness" of the last is in the eye of the beholder; it doesn't bother me at all, and in fact I prefer a more rounded toe to a pointy or squared one. Maybe I'm just weird.

EDIT: The product page has an answer under Q&A, detailing thinner, lighter weight hides, a different shank, and a lighter sole. As a matter of fact, the uppers do look a bit thinner in the pictures... but I'm not sure that'd make me rush out to buy it. I've never had a problem with the weight of the regular shoes, regardless.

At check out, in my cart. I don't know why it's not available to everyone. I think that the best sale on shoes was 40% plus 25% off about a month ago.

I have had that in my cart for the last month and have been cleaning up because of it. My local SA has also been honoring this discount so I have been purchasing in store with the same stacked discount.

Is there any difference in quality in the Non-Iron vs. the Classic Cotton?

It's just like it sounds. The non-iron has been treated to resist wrinkling while the classic cotton has not. In my humble opinion, the feel of the non-iron shirts is significantly different from the classic cotton, and I do not like that difference. I prefer the classic cotton.

Full disclosure - I iron my own shirts and actually find this activity rather enjoyable. If you prefer not to iron, your choices are non-iron or to pay someone else to iron your clothes.

I purchased some non-iron. I was stuck on a hot six hour flight and the plastic treatment or whatever it is that they used was so uncomfortable on my skin that all of them went to Goodwill. I would not recommend them.

I got some non-iron from Mr. Porter and they are uncomfortable now that you've mentioned it. Unfortunately there's not really way I can return these. The website didn't say they were non-Iron though. I will definitely give these classic cotton a shot. Thanks for the heads up.

Any suggestions how I can return my non-irons to Mr. Porter? They are so damn starchy.
