Will there be an additional 15% off for purchases the morning of the 26th?

Yeah, it was crashing all day yesterday. Sometimes a BB page would come up saying to call in because the site was crashing.

When it does that, navigate back to the last page. It usually does that to me when I'm puting something in my cart. Somehow, it is always in my cart when I check later.

The S. LaSalle Chicago store recently charged me $75 for altering an 1818 Fitzgerald suit purchased at 40% off. The alterations involved some minor waist suppression in the jacket and taking a little out of the seat of the pants and waist - so I'm not sure if the charge was due to the fact the suit was on a heavy discount or because the alterations involved more than just sleeves and hems. I'm going in to pick up another one during the after-Christmas sale, so I'm curious what they will charge for alterations this time.

this..although $75 seems high..my local BB in Oakbrook charges about $18 for basic waist suppression..I'm not sure about letting out pants seat and waist..I guess it depends on how much work is done.

$75 is probably average tailoring price for all the things you had done
sleeve length, pants hemmed, waist suppression on jacket, letting out seat and waist of pants

ralph lauren gives free basic alterations on full priced items, not free on sale items
    so same thing

if anyone is getting free basic alterations even for sale items, then you are really lucky
(or a total big timer and they want to keep you happy)

not a big timer, but I get it all the time..IMO, it definitely helps being nice and respectful to SA and tailors. :)

I got my $120 1818 Saxxon Regent suit altered for free. Sleeve shortened, pants hemmed, waist let out, and suspender buttons added / belt loops removed. I ordered it directly from the website so my SA didn't even get commission on the sale. (it was on Thanksgiving or I would have had him order it for me)
