I heard rumours on some other forums that there maybe another sale on a variety of things immediately after this one, anyone care to speak to that?

Not sure, but your best bet is likely to check the B&S section for user Steve_Smith's classifieds. I purchased a new pair from him for $48, and you'll likely never get the pants for that price from BB, even during it's sales.

Oh, I'm talking specifically about the Advantage Chino's.

Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with "Sleven".

I placed an order through Sleven for some Brooks Brothers items. The items I wanted were back-ordered for a month, but he went out of his way to locate the last store that had them in stock. He arranged for the order to be shipped from that store, and I got my shirts a couple of days latter. I will continue to use him. Thanks

I used to wear the Milano chinos almost exclusively but now when I put them on, the low rise and pocket flare is just a total no-go - can't do it anymore

Yeah, I hear you on the pocket flare issue. It can destroy a look but I really prefer more fitted pants so I tend to go with the Milano fit chino's.

I want to echo rsatmans. Sleven has been a great help to me in several purchases. He tracked down low inventory items, dealt with long lists of "I want this", but if that item isn't available "I want that." When I needed to make returns that were shipped from other stores he was happy to assist and take care of the returns himself at his store. He's an asset to this forum.

It seems so common sense and yet so few SA's take these simple steps to help customers during busy sale times. Glad to hear Sleven mastered this skill early. When you find a good BB SA, take care of him.

Thank you both for such kind words!

Clearance for Fashion items do begin after the last sale date while Fall items are already coming in and should slowly appear online as well!

Also, I got notified we will be getting more shoe models (I believe AE models) and definitely will you keep you all updated :)

I called the local BB store wanting to try on a 14 1/2 32 OCBD shirt in ESF, but was told they only have the non-oxford non-iron Egyptian cotton shirt in 14 1/2 and 32 in ESF. Based on your experience, can I expect the OCBD cut similar to the Egyptian cotton shirt?

    Thanks.

I've found the dress shirt ESF to fit consistently through the different styles/fabrics. The only difference in sizing is that some shirts have a center pleat while others don't. The ones w/ the pleat are looser around the shoulders.

With that said, the sportshirts are much slimmer than the dress shirts.

    Thanks Sportin_life.

I went to the closest Brooks Brothers today, but they were all out of the OCBD Supima 14 1/2 32. I tried on a red stripe OCBD 14 1/2 33, and the sleeve were too long. Just ordered 4 from their site, and hope the shirt is not too long in the arms.

I didn't like their non-iron Supima shirts, felt too thin to the touch.

The shirts will likely shrink ever so slightly so you should be fine
