1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I like these (http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCat...or=BLACK&sort_by=&sectioncolor=&sectionsize=#) But it honestly all depends on what you plan on wearing the shoes with. Bulchers aren't ideal with suits but you can do it. What do you think of the price of dress shirts?

Planning to wear them with suits in a conservative environment; however, there is no strict dress code or anything.

I have a pair of black captoes already and light brown wingtips.

Most of my suits are grey, navy, and charcoal so I think dark brown would work well.

What does "high shine leather" on the bluchers mean?

That high shine leather looks kind of scary. I thought it might be cordovan but someone else said that it probably isn't since it isn't explicitly stated. I would stay away from it without seeing the shoes in person.

The leather has heavy shine...Meaning some leathers are dull colored this one is really zeal. You can kind of see it in the picture.

Haven't seen the "high shine" in person, but my concern is that if it is not cordovan, the shoes might look plasticky or like patent leather.

This is exactly what I'm concerned about.

I'm hoping that someone who owns or has seen these in person can provide some insight.

Could be polished leather like what Chuch's does with their Bookbinder leather. Not my cuppa.

Wait a minute. Does the 20% off discount apply only in stores? That's what the terms say. And before noon?! When does it start? I just ordered online using a Mastercard, did not get a discount. What.

It works online. It only showed up as 15% when I checked out, but when I checked my order history, it was down to 20%.

+1. That's my experience too. Bought a pair of Peals (look C&J to me), cashmere cardigan and 2 pairs of cedar trees. Prett happy.
