How much of a discount will be available on suits?

Am a noob and updating my wardrobe, and the last essential item I need is a suit.

I'm trying to remember what their suits run at. And are they worth it...

Is there a memorial day sale going on this weekend or something?

I believe if you need to get the jacket sleeves or the pant legs hemmed or shortened it is included in the price of the suit. My local Brooks Brothers store charged $18 to have the waist of the jacket taken in.

Unfortunately no Memorial Day weekend sales (that I'm aware of), but the Semi-Annual is coming soon enough. The details on the Semi-Annual has even confused me because apparently it was making some minor changes. I don't want to state the details to mislead anyone till I get the official email. Once I get that I will post what I can on here first thing ;]

When I asked about the suits DieselMan89 I was told that some dropped to 40% off so definitely worth it, but I rather give your a concrete answer in the next few days. If you have a specific suit in mind PM me and I will look into it because I have already noticed a low inventory in many key pieces.

Sleven, are there ever made to measure events. I'm gonna need suits for practicum and careers after grad, (not yet as I am on weight loss anyways) but am an 11 inch drop and possibly growing wider (lower waisted pants typically worn). I barely fit a 48r fitzgerald in the shoulders, but wear size 37 in milano chinos :( so M2M is really only option other than sport coats and trousers

There are MTM events actually! Our last one (April) gave 20% off MTM suits which brought some descent fabrics to off the rack prices; you also only pay half for the deposit if that helps as well. MTM shirts was buy 3 and receive 25% off the order as well.

We also have Select which allows you to take off the rack fits and mix match the pant and jacket. You still choose fabrics like you would for a MTM and, if available, choose your sizes and other details (pant closure, pocket style, etc,.). The Milano fit isn't in the Select program yet so it would be the Fitzgerald with alterations. Select starts at around $1,000-$1,200 but was included in the MTM event we did at our store.

I have a calendar of events through January of 2013 and I'll check the dates for the next one tomorrow good sir :)

Cant say enough about the MTM stuff from BB. I tried them out on one shirt to test them. Got the shirt back and it was way too big for my tastes, but they darted it for me (they pulled a slim line then altered, but 2nd time they did X-slim to alter and viola). Then bought 3 more shirts and viola they got the 3 right how I like it. I have a different body than general population so MTM was the only way to go and BB made me a lifetime customer. Years before I bought OTR, but no more.........

Cant wait till the next sale will stock up on sport coats and maybe try some pants for MTM.

I'm not a MTM specialist but the book of fabrics at my store start at $170 (non-iron) and go up to $275; I know there are other price points and fabrics but for my store that is what I'm aware of.

    Hey Sleven,

Do you expect the Non-Iron dress shirts to receive a good discount in the upcoming sale? I grabbed 3 of the extra slim fit non iron shirts during the 30% corporate sale and they fit great on me. Was hoping to pick up a couple more shirts for work.

    Thanks!
