In store last weekend a lady wanted to return a handful of unworn men's shirts with original tags and packaging - but without a receipt. After a fruitless search of the computer records for the name, phone, CC, or any info to identify the purchase transaction the SA checked with her Manager and was instructed to deny the return. Apparently, the shirts were determined to have been from the 2003 line. Anecdotally at least, It seems the unconditional guarantee is not without conditions...although I suspect your shirts are much younger than 9 years old. Also, mailing items to Corporate or the mail return center might potentially have yielded better results in this case.
