look man i'm so irked right now
I copped a pair of purple lens gradients from a reputable online store like nordstrom or neiman marcus (forget which one) for like $100 few months ago.
I love the way the glasses LOOK but the quality is absolute trash
the plastic iframe s very creaky and weak feeling like a pair of $5 H&M sunglasses
it's almost impossible to clean the lens because they are PLASTIC (wtf @ plastic lens on $100 sunglasses*) so it always feels like i'm looking out into the clouds
i feel like i've been ripped off. i could have added $50 to the price i paid for these and got a pair of paul smith or tom fords off giltman
ffffuuuu.gif

i don't own any armani exchange clothing and now i think i never will, because the quality and cheapness of these freaking glasses has me questioning the entire brand.....

*forgive me if all lens are plastic.....i'm assuming the hard quality ones are glass but i don't wear glasses so iono. i know all my solid sunglasses lens feel like glass......

My impression is that it is a mall brand living off the success of its similarly named designer. Quality is similar to BR, tops.

To my knowledge, AX is made by a Japanese company wholly unrelated to Giorgio Armani. They simply bought his name.

It was bad back in high school, even from a high schooler's perspective.

LOL I thought Gap was pretty good in high school. Foo made the transition from Brioni to Rubinacci in Junior yr.

Actually, I was more of a J.Crew/Abercrombie/BR kid for most of high school. The "Asian Mafia" kids were the ones who frequented A/X.

Son, don't panic. Take a deep breath and remain calm.
What happened to you has happened to men and women since time began.
You were reamed **********, that's all. They cheated you out of your money fair n' square.
Just try to walk it off and mark it down as experience.

It depends on the piece. When I was in college I bought a blazer from AX and I wore it all the time. Held up great, and a nice cut.

In general their stuff is crap, but I would imagine it highly depends on the piece.

I still have some of their t-shirts from my college days, back when that was all I wore. They've held up fine over the last 17 or so years, but then again they're so oversized I hardly wear them anymore.

yea i recently learned about this Luxxotica brand, apparently they make Gucci, Paul Smith, etc glasses too. I guess the quality control is different per client and that's why some glasses suck and some don't iono. I purchased stock in Luxxoctica after learning about it, figured it might rise a bit during the summer months....took a loss before I dumped it.
