Saddlebags.

One day SoCal will post a designer that is not Jil or Raf; I will be found shortly after, dead from a heart attack.

I have a couple of vintage leather pieces by Land that I use for trips by car, along with a leather duffel by Coach, if needed. Tumi for air travel.

I have a pair of matching Orvis rolling cases. They are heavy green canvas with brown leather and bright brassy hardware. They are not stylin'. They are extremely rugged, functional, and durable.

I also own a pretty decent Samsonite garment bag, in black ballistic nylon.

I would like to own a nice leather duffel for auto trips, but at this point in my life, it just seems like a pretty extravagant expense with extremely limited utility.

I have shoulder bag from Express I got during a firesale for like $30. It's pretty big, nice and descreet and I can easily pack for a week in it.

I use Barbour leather explorer bag for short trips, and a Filson duffle and/or pullman for longer ones.

What do you guys recommend for a weekender bag/luggage that can accomodate a suit? I'd rather not check in bags or carry a seperate suit bag if possible.

Usually for luggage I have multiple old EMS cordura duffel bags, but if I need to bring something fancy I have an old vintage suit bag I inherited from my grandfather.

i'd like a leather weekender...i was really eyeing that s2a leather weekender on OAK before it sold out. but at retail, the leather pieces are usually outta my price range.

i'm thinking of either the steven alan filson medium duffel or the rag and bone duffel that just popped up on revolve...both kinda fit my general aesthetic...can anyone comment on the quality of RB bags?

No where as good as filson, but for the price range they're in the quality is average.
